RoadTrip Blog

The teams here at Firstup are all feeling a bit cooped up and just a tad tired of virtual events, so we’re going on the road! We’ve scouted out several locations and invited our favorite guests… now all we need is you!

Come join us when we bring internal communication success stories to you. We’ve made it our mission to help businesses thrive in the new world of work and build deeper connections with employees of all types.

We’ll be sharing our tips and tricks, as well as showcasing industry experts from your neighborhood—plus giving us all a chance to network and get out of the house. And lunch is on us!

What is the Firstup Road Show?

The Firstup Road Show is much more than a free comms workshop. It’s an opportunity to learn, network, and get a glimpse into the future of workplace communication.

Why a road show? After the resounding success of our Attune All-In regional events last year, we decided to take the show on the road and meet you where you are!

Who should attend?

Everyone’s welcome, with topics and speakers that will be of particular interest to internal comms, HR, and IT leaders or influencers who want to improve communication in their organization. Here’s a sampling of what you can expect to learn:

  • The value of getting your message out and then amplifying that message to drive your company forward
  • How making a commitment to learning from your successes and failures is so important
  • The importance of two-way communications when trying to reach a widely dispersed workforce
  • Tips for how to overcome communications distribution siloes,  alignment, and adoption hurdles that doom most digital transformation initiatives

Let’s preview our kickoff event in NYC on May 25. The event will run from 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm and will be held at La Mercerie, a top foodie destination. Hosts Tiffin Jernstedt, CCO for Neiman Marcus Group, and Nicole Alvino, Founder and CEO at Firstup, will dive into what communication means today and talk about what we all need to do right now to drive successful change in our organizations. With plenty of time for Q&A and networking, this is a must-attend event for anyone in the area!
