In case you haven’t noticed, we’re very excited about the upcoming Attune Digital Employee Experience Summit taking place in October. (Have you registered to attend?) However, we are extremely excited about our philanthropic event taking place on the last day of the conference, Thursday, October 20, 2022!
We have partnered with WCF Events to develop and sponsor a philanthropic program as part of our conference. Everyone who attends this program will be putting together care packages and backpacks to be delivered to those in need.
Here’s what we will be doing:
Pack-a-Care Packages
The goal of this activity is to assemble care packages, stuffed with necessities based on charity needs. These items can include but are not limited to toiletries, canned food, diapers, toys, etc. These items will then be donated to women and children of domestic abuse and hospitals in the Chicagoland area.
Life Kits: Soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, hair comb, razor, shaving cream
Hospital Admission Kits: Gender-specific activity kits given to kids upon admittance to the hospital
Military Care Package: Based on the current necessities of our troops, guests will assemble packages to brighten their time
Operation Backpack
There are many kids sent to school every year without the necessary items they need to succeed. This activity strives to change that and give every kid a full backpack of supplies. School supplies and backpacks are based on the Chicago Public School supplies list for each grade.
