At Firstup, we believe the employee experience should be seamless: the right guidance at the right time, HR tasks in the flow of work, and leadership visibility that drives real decisions.

Our Q3 2025 release, which went live on August 21, delivers on that vision—bringing new ways to trust automation, simplify HR workflows, and surface the insights that matter most.

Automation You Can Trust: Journey Member Visibility

Journeys are the engine of employee experience automation—guiding people through everything from onboarding to compliance to career development. But automation only works if you can trust it.

With our new Journey Member Visibility, you can now:

  • See exactly who’s enrolled in a journey
  • Track their current and next steps
  • View real-time completion status for every participant

This new level of transparency gives HR, Ops, and Comms leaders confidence that automation isn’t just running—it’s driving outcomes.

List of active journey members showing user names, roles, last communication sent, and current step. Shirley Muller (Chief Solutions Agent) has "Welcome New Hire" as last communication and "Duration (3 Hours)" as current step. Mae Anderson (Forward Security Liaison) and Alexander Langworth (District Data Assistant) both have "Welcome New Hire" as last communication and "My Delay (3 Hours)" as current step. Options to filter and search users are visible. Tabs for Active, Completed, and Removed participants are at the top.

Insights that Drive Decisions: Executive Summary Dashboard

Data only matters if it’s actionable. That’s why we’ve sharpened the Executive Summary Dashboard to make reporting clearer and faster to use.

  • Audiences and initiatives without data are automatically hidden
  • Filters and views are cleaner and easier to interpret
  • Leaders get a streamlined view of what’s working—and what’s not

It’s reporting designed not just to inform, but to drive confident, timely decisions.

Executive Dashboard displaying campaign insights with filters for time range (Jan 2023 vs Jan 2025), audience (Audience 1), topic (All), and department (All). Key metrics under Effectiveness include Content Engagement at 76% (up 12.4% vs. Sep 2024), Required Actions at 60% (up 6% vs. Sep 2024), and Readership at 3,200 users (up 12.4% vs. Sep 2024). Additional sections include an Engagement Funnel for October 2024 and Employee comment sentiment analysis.

HR in the Flow of Work: UKG Pro Pay & PTO

Employees don’t want to chase down pay stubs or log into multiple systems just to check PTO. Now they don’t have to.

With our new UKG Pro Productivity Integration, employees can:

  • View pay statements and paycheck history
  • Check PTO balances by type
  • Access it all directly inside Firstup

For HR leaders, it’s a win-win: less friction for employees, fewer tickets for your team, and a stronger reason for people to return to your intranet every day.

UKG Pro app interface with two screens: the first screen shows the UKG Pro logo, a heading "UKG Pro," a description "Access your pay statements and PTO," and two links labeled "Pay Statements" and "PTO Balance." The second screen displays a "Pay Statements" section with a dropdown for "Pay Statement Period" set to "Year-to-Date," and two pay statements listed with payment dates 01/31/2025 and 01/15/2025, each showing a gross amount of $5,000.00 and a net amount of $3,000.00. Both screens have a back arrow and "BACK" text at the top.

Expanding the Ecosystem: Workday Sync

This quarter also marks the rollout of our native API integration with Workday, delivering:

  • Daily, automated sync of standard fields on employee records
  • Reduced manual work and fewer data mismatches
  • Fast, secure setup for shared customers

And this is just the beginning. Workday user sync is the foundation of a broader Firstup–Workday partnership, with more integrations coming soon.

Continuous Refinement

Of course, we’re also always fine-tuning the everyday experience. From cleaner notifications to smarter search, Q3 includes usability upgrades that reduce clutter and help employees find information faster. These are part of our ongoing commitment to make Firstup easier and more intuitive every day.
