Voice and tone

The 4 Cs, or how to get the writing right
Clear
Be direct. Skip the tech speak and jargon as much as possible. Remember that superlatives don’t mean a whole lot. No competitors are saying they make “worst-in-class” software.
Concise
Edit yourself. Don’t use more words than you need.
Clever
Keep it interesting. This could mean being insightful, being witty, or just cutting through the nonsense. Don’t be afraid to put a bit of sass in SaaS.
Conversational
Write like a human, not a management textbook. If you need to rationalize how you standardize the way you operationalize, you’re doing it wrong.
